I use this jacket for kayaking - especially on cool days. It protects me from the sun and keeps me warm - but not too warm. It's difficult to find actual gear designed for paddling for plus-size women, so this was one of my "make do" products. It's obviously not water-proof, but it IS quick-drying. It's easy to wash (throw it in the washing machine), and it will keep you from getting sunburned. It's also light and easy to pack - easy to stow in a dry hatch or on the back of your boat if it gets too warm. Great colors, too!

Got the Coolibar swim shirt for a trip to Hawaii and was glad I had it. Didn't burn at all even though I swam and snorkeled daily. This runs a bit big through the body if the sleeves and shoulders fit, but it is comfy and great to wear just sitting on the beach. When it's wet, it's a bit chilly when you first get out of the water if there is a breeze, but it keeps the sun from burning you and looks great!
